Green Daze NPC ("Green Daze", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Information collected through this website
This website is for information only. It has no contact forms, accounts or sign-ups, so we do not collect personal information directly through it. The age confirmation on entry is not recorded or stored.
Membership applications
Membership applications are made through ClubHub (clubhub420.com), a third-party platform. Information you submit there is handled under ClubHub's own privacy policy. To manage your membership we receive the details needed to confirm your eligibility and contact you, such as your name, contact details and proof that you are 18 or older with a valid South African ID.
How we use your information
- To assess and manage membership of the club.
- To confirm that members are 18 or older.
- To contact members about club matters.
- To comply with the Cannabis for Private Purposes Act and other applicable laws.
Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We only share it where required by law, or with service providers who help us run the club and who are required to keep it confidential.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we keep it only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you and provide a copy of it;
- correct or update information that is inaccurate;
- delete information we no longer need; or
- stop processing your information, where the law allows.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
